Ode to a mouse / rage against the mouse

In the heat of quake
with the game at stake
clearly running the house
with an 800dpi mouse

and then it sticks
requiring quick flicks
like a mouse with a ball
that I bought a shopping mall
it becomes completely stuck
and I'm totally out of luck

from leading the pack
to looking like I smoking crack
I can't take this mouse anymore
it time to show it the door

if a fit of rage
like a tiger in cage
by the tail with a quick flip
to desktop with a vicious whip

with a thunderous crash
of a solid bash
in a flash
it become plastic trash

with pieces all over the room
time to get the dustpan and broom

I put it back together knowing full well it done
plug it back in looking for life and there is none
so for tonight quake is done
