I'm familiar with CPMA VQ3 settings, as I've played many CTF pickup games under those settings.

Personally, I'm fine with playing in CPMA with VQ3 settings. However, my team is mainly a baseq3 CTF team. Some of us play a little CPMA on the side, but a few of my members have troubles running CPMA, which is why we don't play it that much.

However, we only prefer baseq3 over CPMA, but we will play CPMA with VQ3 settings if the other team strongly prefers CPMA. I will instruct my teammates to test your server to see if it will be playable for them in a match. Your server's IP address is 8.3.28.162:27960, correct?

If you would like to test my team's server as well, you can find it at the following IP address:

    66.150.165.133:27960

    Regards,

    *Insex{BC}

    ya thats correct.

base is ok too its just that cpma server is smoother and less laggy especially if those playing have higher pings.

I dunno why guys have problem with cpma , it works perfectly.

We can help anybody who is having problems....aloha Croaker

    Hey [dk],

Sorry I've been dragging this thread on for a while. These past couple of weeks I didn't have enough teammates who would've been available for a match. However, I might have enough guys ready for a 4v4 or 5v5 during the first weekend of September. Would you guys be interested in playing us on Friday, September 5th? We can do this at your server (Shayders). How does 7:00 PM Pacific sound with you guys?

I can play sept 5th but i wont get home from work until 5 pm (hawaii time). I can play the 6th too.

Lets try to meet on that day and even if we dont have all the guys we should have enough for something. At least the guys can meet and frag around and talk which would probably end up in us all playing on maybe another date.

Ill have to set the server up for enough guys and maybe ill password it and send you all the password. I know a couple oth guys that could play that are cool if not enough dk or bc guys show.
Either way we can start the ball rolling and eventually get some fun games goin.

    OK

Hey insex, pm me with your email and we can talk over a few details....maps etc. We just uploaded the 3 wave maps in case its CTF and I will make some adjustments to server. Currently the server holds 10 players but I can add a few more and maybe password it if alot of guys are gonna show.

    Sounds good.

I'll pass the word along to my teammates and we'll meet at your server (Shayder's) on September 5th for some CTF action. If the 5th doesn't work for everyone, then we might be able to do it on the 6th, but I'm not 100% sure yet about the 6th. We'll see about it on the 5th. Is the IP address for Shayder's still the same as last time?

My team primarily plays CTF and we were assuming you wanted to play us in CTF too. We dabble in a few other game modes, but CTF is our main specialty. For CTF, we just play the baseq3 and Threewave maps.

Also, how many other [dk] members reside in Hawaii and how many are on the mainland (and what timezones)? All of my guys are scattered along the Pacific coast and mountain timezones, except for one, he's in Chicago. There's a three-hour difference between Hawaii and California, so playing at 5:00 PM Hawaii time shouldn't be a problem for most of my guys, except for the one in Chicago.

So let me know what timezones y'all are in, then we can work on setting up a better meeting time for everyone.

The server is set up with the popular 3W and vanilla CTF maps now... I even threw a couple of bots on there so that anyone that wants to get a feel for the server can shoot around a bit if they want.

Good games clan [dk]. You guys played well and the games were fun. Thanks for letting us use your server.

Let us know whenever you're interested in a rematch. The next time, we can play your game mode, TDM.
